  Forbes magazine has published a list of the most powerful women in the world in 2023. The rating was headed by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. This was reported by UNN, citing Forbes.

The first place in the ranking was taken by  - Ursula von der Leyen, who became the first woman to serve as president of the European Commission and is responsible for legislation affecting more than 450 million Europeans.

The second place  goes to Christine Lagarde, President of the European Central Bank. She is also the first woman to hold this position. As the head of European monetary policy, Lagarde is struggling "with the critical challenge of ensuring economic growth in the face of high inflation."

In the end, the top three leaders are rounded out by US Vice President Kamala Harris, who became the first woman, the first black woman, and the first South Asian American to hold the post.
