Ukrainian troops engage in 171 combat engagements in the frontline, most intense in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove sectors - General Staff

There were 171 combat engagements over the last day, most of them in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove sectors. The occupants lost 482 troops in the Pokrovsk sector, launched 6 air strikes and fired over 4100 times.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the offensive of the occupation forces. The situation at the Pokrovske, Kurakhove and Vremivske directions remains tense as the enemy concentrates its main offensive efforts there. In addition, the occupiers are actively attacking in the Lyman sector. This is stated in the report of the General Staff as of 22.00 on 29.12.2024, UNN reports.

In Kharkiv sector, Russian terrorists stormed the positions of our units in the area of Hatyshche once, the attack was repelled, the enemy was not successful.
The enemy attacked our positions six times in the Kupyansk sector . Near Petropavlivka, Kucherivka and Lozova, the Defense Forces repelled all enemy attacks.
In the Liman sector today, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Hrekivka, Zelenyi Hai, Platonivka, Pershotravneve, Nadiia, Makiivka, Terny, Yampolivka, Ivanivka and Bilohorivka. Our troops repelled 23 enemy attacks, three firefights are ongoing.
In the Northern sector , the enemy made one futile attempt to push our defenders from their positions near Zolotarivka since the beginning of the day.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled seven militants' attempts to advance in the areas of Chasovyi Yar and Stupochky, two more engagements are still ongoing.
In Toretsk sector, the occupants tried to advance seven times in the areas of Shcherbynivka and Toretsk, two enemy attacks are currently underway.
In the Pokrovsky sector, the aggressor attacked our positions 40 times in the areas of Zelene Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Novyi Trud, Vovkove, Solone, Novooleonivka, Novovasylivka and Novoyelizavetivka. Eight firefights are still ongoing. According to the available information, the occupants' losses in the area amounted to 482 people killed and wounded, one infantry fighting vehicle, two cars and one motorcycle were destroyed, in addition, two tanks, six armored combat vehicles and three units of enemy vehicles were significantly damaged.
In the Kurakhove sector, the invaders have made 18 attempts to advance by this time of day. Three attacks are ongoing. The enemy attacked near the settlements of Ukrainka, Slovyanka, Petropavlivka, Kurakhove and Dachne. In this area, enemy losses amounted to 74 occupants killed and wounded, one tank, one armored personnel carrier and one enemy vehicle were destroyed, in addition, three armored personnel carriers and one enemy mortar were damaged.
In the Vremivsk sector today the aggressor attacked the front line of our defense 19 times near Kostiantynopolske, Yantarne, Uspenivka, Kostiantynopil and Pryvilne, two firefights are currently ongoing.

The enemy did not conduct active operations in the Orikhivske and Huliaypillia directions.
