Ukrainian serviceman Andriy Tkachuk won bronze at the World Daily Running Championships in Taipei, setting a national 12-hour record of 284.54 km.

Ukrainian soldier Andriy "Brodyaga" Tkachuk won a bronze medal at the World Championships in daily running. This was reported by StratCom Armed Forces of Ukraine, reports UNN.

It is noted that the championship was held on December 1-2 in the capital of Taipei, the capital of Taiwan.

Tkachuk took third place with a result of 284.540 km and set a national record in the 12-hour run: 156.8 km (the previous achievement also belonged to him - 155.295 km).

The Ukrainian was second only to the repeated world and European champion, Lithuanian and European champion, world record holder Alexander Sorokin of Lithuania and titled Greek athlete Fotis Zissimopoulos.
