Ukrainian judokas won six medals at the European Championships in Spain - one gold, four silver and one bronze. This was reported by the National Olympic Committee, reports UNN

As reported by the NOC, from June 29 to July 2, the European Cadet Judo Championships (under 18) took place on Gran Canaria (Spain). More than 400 athletes from 43 countries took part in the tournament, competing for the continental championship awards. Our country was represented by a strong team of 20 Ukrainians. 

According to the results of the competition, our athletes climbed onto the podium six times. Hazar Heydarov won the "gold". The "silver" was won by the Ukrainian national team in the mixed team tournament - Hazar Heydarov, Matviy Turchyn, Nikita Sakharov, Illya Shvets, Tetyana Glushchenko, Viktoriya Voropayeva, Arina Mashurenko, Yana Kholyavko, Yana Dovhun. 

Silver medals were also won by Kseniya Kyrylchuk, Diana Samoylyuk, Yana Dovhun. Arina Mashurenko won the "bronze".
