Ukraine plans to privatize two more distilleries

The Ukrainian government authorized the privatization of two alcohol industry enterprises - Ichniansky Distillery and Chervonensky Food Product Plant.
The Government has approved preparations for privatization of two more plants in the alcohol industry. We are talking about the Ichnyansky Alcohol Plant and the Chervonensky Food Product Plant. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, according to UNN.
Details
According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the State Property Fund received grounds to stop the reorganization of these plants and the opportunity to privatize them. Accordingly, the proceeds from their sale will go to the state budget.
The Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 672 of 28.10.2010 approved the reorganization of these two plants by merging them into the State Enterprise "Ukrspirt". However, the reorganization processes were not carried out
The department adds that in August this year, the SPF put up for privatization auction the Strutyn distillery in Lviv region with a starting price of 31.3 million UAH.

Ichnia Distillery is a food industry enterprise in the city of Ichnia, Chernihiv region. In January 2003, it received a permit to start production of high-octane oxygen-containing gasoline additives.
The plant also produced ethyl alcohol (including rectified alcohol, "Extra" alcohol, "Lux" alcohol and technical alcohol), as well as isoamyl alcohol for the needs of the chemical industry and bard, alcoholic beverages. The company is in the process of legal entity termination. In 2014, it no longer functioned.
Chervonensky Food Product Plant - located in the village of Chervone, Zhytomyr region. It is able to produce organic solvents, glass cleaning liquids based on alcohol production technology, as well as alcohol, alcoholic beverages, liqueurs, fruit drinks, liqueurs, juices.
The raw materials used are molasses (molasses), sugar beet processing waste, and grain. The company is in the process of liquidation.
