Two earthquakes with magnitudes of 4.8 and 4.2 occurred today near the city of Oni in western Georgia, with no casualties or damage reported.
Two earthquakes have occurred in western Georgia today. This is reported by the National Seismic Monitoring Center, UNN reports.
At 17:44 Tbilisi time, earthquakes with a magnitude of 4.8 were recorded 10 km from the town of Oni in the Racha region.
A few minutes later, at 17:50, a 4.2-magnitude earthquake occurred in the same area.
In the first case, the hypocenter was at a depth of 7 kilometers, and in the second case, 10 kilometers.
There have been no reports of casualties or destruction.
