The administration of US President Donald Trump has stopped funding a program that provides legal representation to thousands of unaccompanied migrant children, according to a memorandum issued Friday by the Department of Homeland Security and obtained by ABC News, reports UNN.
Organizations that collectively receive more than $200 million in federal grants have been told that the contract has been partially terminated.
The only funding remaining from the contract is for "Know Your Rights" information presentations that are conducted for unaccompanied migrant children in detention centers.
