There are 460 veterans' support specialists in Ukraine, and their number will grow every month. The state provides comprehensive support, from free dental prosthetics to housing and business grants.
More than 460 veteran support specialists work in Ukraine. The number will grow every month. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at a government meeting, UNN reports.
"Almost 20 thousand military personnel and veterans have benefited from free dental prosthetics and dental treatment. More than 4.6 thousand defenders have received their own homes. More than 460 specialists are working to support veterans. Their number will grow every month," said Shmyhal.
He also reminded that a thousand veteran businesses have been launched thanks to grant support from the state.
"The electronic veteran's certificate is working, and more than 350,000 people have already used it. We have 1480 "one-stop shops" in the ASCs for veterans and their families. We have expanded the program of free prosthetics. The maximum prices for prostheses with increased functionality have been increased, and the procedure for obtaining such a prosthesis has been simplified," said Shmyhal.

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a strategy for veterans' policy until 2030 with three key goals. The plan envisages improving the welfare of veterans, honoring them, and engaging them in national security.
