Russia is moving a new 104th Airborne Assault Division to the occupied Kherson region, which, according to British intelligence,
is probably poorly trained.

It is noted that in August 2023, the Russian Defense Minister
Sergei Shoigu announced plans to form the 104th Guards Army
the Airborne Division, which was reduced to a brigade division in 1998

The division is likely to include the 337th Regiment, an additional
maneuver Regiment and 52nd Artillery Brigade. With the addition of the 104th Gad quantity
divisions of the Russian Airborne Forces will increase to five.
