Russian troops shelled Sumy region 23 times at night and in the morning. 50 explosions were recorded in 8 communities, including air strikes, artillery, grenade launchers and mine drops from drones, the Sumy RMA reported on Thursday, UNN reports.

"At night and in the morning, Russians fired 23 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. 50 explosions were recorded," the RMA reported on Telegram.
As indicated, Khotyn, Yunakiv, Bilopil, Krasnopil, Velykopysarivska, Novoslobidska, Hlukhivska, Esmanska communities were shelled:
- Khotyn community: KAB airstrikes (4 explosions).
- Novoslobidska community: the enemy fired from cannon artillery (3 explosions).
- Bilopilska community: air strikes by the KABs (3 explosions) and the dropping of explosives from UAVs (1 explosion) were recorded.
- Yunyakivska community: Russians carried out air strikes on KAB (15 explosions).
- Krasnopilska community: the enemy attacked with artillery (2 explosions).
- Velykopysarivska community: there was a shelling from an automatic weapons system (12 explosions).
- Esman community: 7 mines dropped by Russians on the territory of the community.
- Hlukhiv community: KAB air strikes (3 explosions).
