Number of war victims among children has increased: a 15-year-old girl from Pokrovsk has died

As a result of the enemy shelling of Pokrovsk, a 15-year-old girl died, which increased the number of dead children to 605. Also, on March 24, 22 children were injured in Sumy.

The number of children killed in the war in Ukraine has increased - a 15-year-old girl who was wounded during an enemy attack on Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast has died, bringing the number of war victims among children to 605, UNN writes, citing data from the Prosecutor General's Office.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, in recent days:
- On March 24, a 15-year-old girl died, who was wounded as a result of the shelling of the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, on March 17;
- On March 24, 22 children were injured as a result of the shelling of the city of Sumy.
In total, more than 2,444 children have been affected in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of March 25, 2025, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 605 children have died and more than 1,839 have been injured to varying degrees of severity.
Most children were affected in the following regions: Donetsk - 634, Kharkiv - 470, Kherson - 202, Dnipropetrovsk - 203, Kyiv - 136, Zaporizhzhia - 170, Mykolaiv - 118, Sumy - 115.
