Earlier, it was reported that Fico might convey some message to Putin from President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whom the Slovak leader recently met.
However, Ushakov told journalists that Zelenskyy had not conveyed "any message."
"The Prime Minister informed our president and our delegation that he did indeed meet with Zelenskyy the other day," Ushakov said. "Zelenskyy expressed to him his assessments of the current situation in the Russian-Ukrainian context."
"It turned out that Fico informed in considerable detail about what he had discussed with Zelenskyy," Putin's aide stated.
He also commented on the recent statement by US President Donald Trump, who expressed hope that the truce between Ukraine and Russia could last longer than the agreed three days.
"No, there was an agreement that the truce dedicated to Victory Day would last three days: the 9th, 10th, and 11th," Ushakov said in response to a corresponding question from journalists.
