The head of "Ukrzaliznytsia" stated that there was no leakage of passengers' personal data during the cyberattack

During the cyberattack on the services of "Ukrzaliznytsia", there was no leakage of passengers' personal data or information about military cargo, because the system does not store it. This was stated by the chairman of the board of "Ukrzaliznytsia" Oleksandr Pertsovskyi during a briefing, reports UNN.

Details

First, no information about special or military cargo is stored in our system. I will not go into details, but there is another document flow, which is protected, is digital, which occurs in relation to all protocols of closed channels. Even if the enemy tried to obtain this information, it is protected and not accessible

- said Pertsovskyi.

He noted that "Ukrzaliznytsia" also does not store passengers' personal data.

I also want to respond to the speculations that were about the leakage of personal data, I want to say that "Ukrzaliznytsia" does not store the personal data of our passengers. You know that we have data exchange, in particular with "Diia". Everything is built in such a way that we simply receive feedback from the system, confirmation or non-confirmation of certain people, without storing the personal data of our passengers

- added Pertsovskyi.
