Sumy MBA Names Top 3 Fake "Zashkvars" of the Last Week
Kyiv • UNN
The Sumy City Military Administration named the top three most popular manipulations with fake news about Sumy region last week: Russia's alleged offensive plans, the information flash mob "Shout about Sumy region" and rumors about the reduction of fuel supplies for volunteers.
The Sumy City Military Administration compiled a rating of news manipulations about Sumy region last week. The top 3 were published by the head of the Sumy MVA, Oleksiy Drozdenko, reports UNN.
Details
The first place in the ranking was given to the fake about the alleged next Russian offensive in Sumy region, which worried the residents of the region the most.
Recently, there have been a lot of manipulations and insinuations about a new racist offensive on Sumy. At present, no attack groups have been spotted attacking our region, and the military and authorities are in control of the situation. However, the danger from the air is constant, so do not ignore the alarms!
The second in the top is the information flash mob "Shout about Sumy region", which has gained popularity in social networks.
Another vivid example of manipulation, successfully used by the enemy's bot farms and picked up by the public. The shelling of the border, with greater or lesser intensity, has not stopped since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. ... Nevertheless, the situation on the border is controlled by our troops. So, don't spread fake news and trust the official sources of RMA and MBA.
The "bronze" in fake news went to a fake that was promoted in the interests of racists: "The government has reduced the DFTH and failed to provide volunteers with fuel"
Drozdanka explained that the goal of such an information campaign is to arouse strong emotions in people, including indignation and distrust of the authorities.
The truth is that the relevant orders to support the DFTG were signed in the same number and in the same composition. Our volunteers are undergoing training, protecting critical infrastructure facilities and bravely defending our skies. It is true that a few sedans have been excluded from the list of vehicles, but this does not affect the overall material support of volunteer formations and the protection of the sky.
And as a "bonus," the head of the MBA spoke about rumors of local manipulation regarding his new advisors.
Indeed, my team has two new freelance advisors - Ruslan Cherevan and Gennadiy Demyanenko. They will be introduced this week.
