What is known about Alla Volkova
Alla Volkova is a famous Ukrainian stand-up comedian who openly and boldly raises social issues in her performances, in particular, gender inequality, protection of women's rights and safety. Volkova was the first in Ukraine to dare to gather the "Palace of Sports" for her stand-up show last year. Then more than 7,000 people bought tickets for her performance - this is a record for Ukrainian comedians. Prior to that, the largest venue where a stand-up show could be held was the "Ukraine" Palace. There, in October 2023, Anton Tymoshenko gathered almost 3,500 spectators for his solo concert. In total, Alla Volkova's solo concerts in 2024 were attended by more than 100,000 spectators.
In an interview with Ramina Eshakzai, the comedian admitted that she had to have an abortion at the age of 18, because she considered herself emotionally immature and financially unstable. However, Volkova is not ashamed to talk and even joke about this topic. "I was poor and stupid. None of you would want to cross paths with me on playgrounds. I would be a *** mom who fights with children for a bottle of vodka." Now Volkova is in a relationship with humorist Bohdan Boyaryn, from whom she gave birth to her first child.
