The first graduates of the new 1.5-month military training program will go to combat units in December. It is also planned to improve the training of officers and expand advanced training courses.

Already in December, the first military personnel of the one-and-a-half-month training period will go to combat military units. It is also planned to improve the training system for Tactical Officers  and expand advanced training courses. This was announced by the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander  Sirsky, reports UNN.

Sirsky reported that he held  a service meeting to  Improve  the quality  of military training.   it was attended by heads of structural divisions of the General Staff of the armed forces of Ukraine, commanders of types and branches of the armed forces (forces), commanders of individual combat military units, heads of training centers and VVNZ. 

We discussed the preliminary results of the implementation of the new BZVP program with a training period of 1.5 months in all training centers starting from November 1 of this year. According to M. A. Golovko, cadets and instructors note only positive aspects in increasing the duration of training and in changing the basic combined-arms training program.

 already in December, the first graduates of the one-and-a-half-month training period will go to combat military units. Therefore, we are waiting for feedback about graduates from unit commanders and suggestions for further increasing basic combined-arms training

The meeting also discussed the training of tactical officers, the content of which, according to Sirsky, now needs to be improved, including an increase in the duration of training. Such proposals were made by the heads of higher military educational institutions.

The need to improve the training of officers was also noted by the commanders of combat brigades.

The meeting proposed the deployment of advanced training courses for staff officers in certain areas of activity.

"Each commander should be responsible for the quality of staff training, so the principle of "the commander learns with subordinates"should be used in the course of their training.

Training is the basis for the activities of troops (forces) both in peacetime and in wartime, the activities of all commanders should be aimed at constantly improving the knowledge, skills and abilities of military personnel, their stability during combat missions," Sirsky stressed.
