Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 382 cases of human trafficking have been registered. 158 people were notified of suspicion, 76 were sentenced. 197 people were recognized as victims, mostly women and minors.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 158 people have been notified of suspicion on facts related to human trafficking, 76 of them have been sentenced, and a total of 382 criminal offenses in this category have been registered during this period. This was reported by Iryna Horban, head of the department of the Prosecutor General's Office, during the telethon "United News", UNN reports .
We already have identified persons in these cases - 158 people have been notified of suspicion, and indictments have been sent to court against 155 people. In terms of types of exploitation, we have registered 47 cases of sexual exploitation, 44 cases of labor exploitation, and about 30 cases of involvement in criminal activity,

She also said that law enforcement officers neutralized 12 organized criminal groups. A total of 76 criminals have already been sentenced. The victims of these crimes are 197 people, most of whom are women and minors (64%).
In addition, Horban said that the Prosecutor General's Office is strengthening cooperation at the national and international levels to combat human trafficking.
We have an interagency working group to identify, investigate and suppress human trafficking. This interagency working group includes all representatives of law enforcement agencies, including employees of the State Border Guard Service
Horban added that if there is information about a possible fact of exploitation of Ukrainians abroad, the PGO, with the help of colleagues from Europol and Eurojust, notifies the competent authorities of foreign countries so that they can respond accordingly.
