Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal instructed the relevant ministries to introduce an updated resolution on the reservation of persons liable for military service and to define an exhaustive list of critical infrastructure facilities and enterprises to ensure fair and rational reservation of employees for the functioning of the economy and infrastructure supporting military operations.

Defense capability is the number 1 priority. Every week we make decisions that strengthen our country. At the same time, we understand that effective defense is a synergy of efforts from the front and the rear. Our military defend Ukraine on the front line, but to support them, we need a functioning economy and infrastructure. One of the key issues in this regard is fair and rational reservation of persons liable for military service. Employees of enterprises that are really critical. There should be no speculation or manipulation here. Therefore, I am instructing the relevant ministries to introduce an updated, fairer resolution on reservation and to determine an exhaustive list of critical infrastructure facilities and enterprises
He emphasized that we need clear and understandable criteria so that neither the military nor the public have any questions about why certain people are booked in our country.
