Shenzhou-17 taikonauts make their first spacewalk

Two Shenzhou-17 taikonauts, Tan Hongbo and Tan Shengji, made their first spacewalk, performing operations such as repairing the solar wing of the Tianhe module.
Two taikonauts of the manned Chinese spacecraft "Shenzhou-17" made the first spacewalk for the for off-ship operations, reports Xinhua agency, UNNwrites.

Taikonauts "Shenzhou-17" Tang Hongbo, Tang Shengji made their first spacewalk for a number of operations, such as repairing the solar wing of the Tianhe main module with the help of the ground team and the space station's robotic arm. It is noted that Tang Hongbo is the first Chinese space traveler to return to the space station for the second mission and went into outer space.
Tan Shengji also also became the country's youngest astronaut to complete an off-ship mission.
In the future, the Shenzhou-17 crew will complete a significant number of planned space scientific experiments, technical tests and spacewalks
The crew members have already conducted many tasks, including crew rotation with the Shenzhou 16 astronauts, maintenance of the space station platform, off-ship inspections, spacesuit testing and checking the equipment of the Shenzhou-6 cargo ship.
