A spy from Chernivtsi will stand trial: law enforcement officers have completed the investigation and sent an indictment. It is stated that the accused collected information about critical infrastructure, logistics and military facilities in Bukovyna.

The defendant met a representative of the Russian special services in one of the messengers and agreed to conduct subversive activities against Ukraine for a reward.
The man provided the Russian special services with information on the location of railway transport hubs, military facilities and coordinates of medical institutions where Ukrainian soldiers were treated in Chernivtsi.
For the sake of secrecy, the traitor “explored” the area under the guise of a courier service employee.
Law enforcement officers found out that in June, for about four thousand hryvnias in cryptocurrency, he sent a representative of the enemy special service images and coordinates of military facilities in Chernivtsi.
Investigators also found that in Russian video chats, the offender justified Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine and stated that he was on the side of the aggressor country. In addition, the suspect expressed his willingness to cooperate with the enemy and expressed a desire to carry out orders from Russian agents.
The 49-year-old Bukovyna resident was detained in July 2013.
Law enforcement officers searched his place of residence. Computer equipment with evidence of criminal activity was seized.
Law enforcement officers have now completed the pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Art. 111 (High treason) and Part 1 of Art. 436-2 (Justification, recognition of the legitimacy, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The indictment was sent to court. The offender faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
