According to her, the heat will peak on Sunday, July 14. Then the air will warm up to +40 degrees and above in some places. The temperature will remain at this level for several days.
"No rain, scorching sun, high fire danger and possible small-scale tornadoes," she warned.
Didenko added that the hottest days in the capital will be July 14-16. Then the air temperature will be +39 degrees.
She specified that it would be cooler on July 18-20 in the north, west, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, and Chernihiv regions.
"After +35+40 degrees, a drop in air temperature to +30 degrees, or to put it quietly, to +29 degrees, will be perceived by the body exhausted by the heat as a cold snap," the forecaster emphasizes.
