Analysts at Defense Express have identified a two-week cycle of combined Russian attacks on Kyiv. According to experts, the reason for the success of the attack on July 2 is a critical shortage of missiles for the Patriot air defense system.
Russia carried out combined attacks on Kyiv on the night of June 2, June 15, and the night of July 2. Thus, we can speak of the emergence of a certain two-week cycle that the Russian Federation needs to prepare such strikes. This is reported by Defense Express, UNN reports.

Analysts draw attention to a very low percentage of interception of ballistic missiles (16.7%), as well as the non-intercepted hypersonic Zircon missiles in the announced statistics of repelling the attack on July 2.
If we compare the results of repelling the attack on June 15, then out of 6 Zircons, 5 were shot down, 83.3%, and out of ballistic missiles - 15 out of 34, 44.1%. The authors suggest that the reason why the attack on the night of July 2 became more effective for the enemy lies in the shortage of missiles for the Patriot air defense system, "which has already become critical and which the Russians, who in June struck Kyiv several times with ballistic missiles not as part of combined attacks, for example, on June 25, are fully counting on."
