Kirilenko's property status is being checked by the NACP's Lifestyle Monitoring and Control Department.

The publication noted that the basis for this inspection was of the material of the Schemes project (Radio Liberty), in which journalists found that the official's family acquired real estate and cars with a total market value of more than UAH 70 million in 2020-2023. At the same time, part of the property used by the official and his family is not indicated in his latest declaration.

At the end of March , UNN reported,  that the "Schemes" project had published a story in which investigative journalists said that relatives of the head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU), Pavlo Kyrylenko, had acquired real estate worth about UAH 70 million over the past four years, especially during his presidency of Donetsk region, which looks disproportionate to his official income. This includes a large mansion, two land plots, two crossovers, three apartments with parking spaces in Kyiv, and an apartment in a premium residential complex in Uzhhorod.

The article was published on Friday, and on Monday, the SAPO and NABU launched criminal proceedings against the AMCU head Pavlo Kyrylenko under the articles "illegal enrichment" and "declaration of false information".
