Pashinyan's party won the elections in Armenia - final CEC data

The CEC of Armenia announced the victory of Nikol Pashinyan's party, which received 49.74% of the vote. The political force will have 61 mandates and will be able to form a government independently.

The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia has published the final results of the parliamentary elections held on June 7. The Civil Contract party of the incumbent Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has officially become the winner, UNN reports.

According to the released results, the Civil Contract party received 726,819 votes (49.74%), the Moscow-backed Strong Armenia bloc of billionaire Samvel Karapetyan received 340,006 votes (23.27%), and the Armenia bloc of former President Robert Kocharyan received 144,983 votes (9.92%).
Another party—the center-right Prosperous Armenia of businessman Gagik Tsarukyan—gained 58,287 votes (3.98%) and did not enter parliament, as the electoral threshold is 4%.
Pashinyan's Civil Contract will receive 61 out of 101 seats in parliament and will thus be able to form a government independently.

The statement notes that the parliamentary elections in Armenia took place under conditions that, according to the political forces that signed it, "call into fundamental question the free, fair, and competitive nature of the electoral process."
