North Korea announces the launch of a missile with a spy satellite

North Korea has announced the successful launch of a ballistic missile with a spy satellite on board. The country plans to launch several more satellites soon to improve its intelligence capabilities.
The National Aerospace Technology Administration of the DPRK Technologies of the DPRK announced the successful launch of a reconnaissance satellite. It was reported by UNN writes with reference to the central news agency KCNA Watch.
Details
According to the report, the Maligen-1 satellite, which which performs reconnaissance functions, was launched into orbit by a ballistic missile.
The launch was personally observed by the DPRK leader Kim Jong-un personally watched the launch. The DPRK also added that the North Korean space agency will soon launch several more similar satellites in the near future to enhance its intelligence capabilities.

South Korea responded to the DPRK's statement by noting that it would take measures to suspend the implementation of the 2018 inter-Korean agreement aimed at reducing military tensions.
Such a step will include the resumption of intelligence and surveillance operations in the area around the the military demarcation line between the two countries.
