For the first time in 52 years, new temperature records have been set in the capital of Ukraine. This was reported by the Central Geophysical Observatory named after Borys Sreznevsky, UNN reports.

The maximum air temperature reached 25.3°C, surpassing the previous record for this day, set in 1972, by 1.5°C.

The average daily temperature also broke records, reaching 19.0°C. This surpassed the previous record set in 1972 by 1.9°C, indicating an unusually warm day for this period of the year.
