Israeli intelligence, together with partners, uncovered an Iranian conspiracy to attack senior officials. Iran used foreigners through intermediaries to gather data and prepare attacks.
The Israeli intelligence service "Mossad" stated that, together with international partners, it thwarted dozens of alleged Iranian plans for attacks on senior Israeli officials. This is stated in a statement released by the office of the Prime Minister of Israel, reports CNN, writes UNN.

According to Mossad, Iran's Ministry of Intelligence attempted to use foreign nationals to infiltrate Israel in order to gather intelligence and subsequently prepare attacks on senior Israeli officials.
As Israeli intelligence claims, to recruit perpetrators, the Iranian side involved "criminal intermediaries" who sought out individuals capable of entering Israel and carrying out assigned tasks.
Mossad reported that, together with the General Security Service "Shin Bet" and international partners, it managed to thwart "dozens of Iranian attack plans." According to the intelligence agency, this helped save "numerous lives" and conduct investigative and legal actions against individuals involved in terrorist activities.
