The United States will adjust its security assistance and recommendations to Ukraine based on Ukraine's operational and strategic needs to counter russian attacks, including air threats. The State Department emphasizes close cooperation with Ukraine on this issue.
The United States will adjust its security assistance and the guidance that goes with it based on Ukraine's operational and strategic needs. According to UNN , Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Smith said this in an interview with Voice of America.

He said that the United States condemns russia's attacks on civilians. And the United States will help Ukraine counter these threats, either in the air or by striking them where they come from, in a way that is consistent with our policy.
He spoke about working closely with the Ukrainian side to adjust security assistance to counter these threats. He did not elaborate on not publicizing the allies' actions to the russians, but noted that the United States and Ukraine are working on this critical issue.
