The first medicines based on medical cannabis may become available in Ukraine in January 2025. The first registration of such a drug is already underway, as reported by Olga Stefanyshyna.
Medicines made on the basis of medical cannabis may be prescribed as early as January 2025. This was announced by MP, member of the Committee on National Health Olha Stefanyshyna during a briefing, according to a UNN correspondent .

From what I hear, the process is going well. We are very careful to ensure that there are no corruption risks. Therefore, we hope that in January it will be possible to prescribe medicines based on medical cannabis

The Cabinet of Ministers has added 30 new active substances to the program “Affordable Medicines” and allowed the purchase of medicines with eSupport funds. The list of medicines for children has been expanded and the network of pharmacies participating in the program has been increased.
