Marvin Levy, Steven Spielberg's publicist, has died at the age of 97. He received an honorary Oscar in 2018, becoming the only PR representative to receive such an award.

Marvin Levy was an indispensable partner to Spielberg and his production company Amblin Entertainment for more than five decades. UNN reports with reference to Variety.

Marvin Levy, a well-known communications manager and publicist for legendary film director Steven Spielberg, died on April 7 at the age of 96.
Levy helped Spielberg succeed in many film works. Among them:
"E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial", "Jurassic Park", "Schindler's List", "Saving Private Ryan" and other films. Marvin Levy was one of the most respected marketing professionals.
In addition to the projects of his famous clients, he also worked on the promotion of such film classics as "Ben-Hur", "Taxi Driver", "Shrek", "Gladiator", which earned him high recognition in the film industry.
It should be noted that in 2018, Levy received an honorary Oscar, becoming the only PR representative to ever receive an honorary Academy Award.
