The economic well-being of Ukrainian refugees has improved since May 2023: the number of those facing food or clothing shortages has decreased by 10%, employment opportunities have increased, and more than 60% have higher incomes than before February 24, 2022.

According to the Center, since May 2023, the economic situation of Ukrainian refugees has improved significantly: the percentage of those facing shortages of food or clothing has decreased by 10 percentage points.
The level of dissatisfaction with the amount of social payments continues to decline. This is due, in particular, to increased employment opportunities and rising incomes.
The study also shows that since May 2023, the percentage of those employed in the labor market has increased from 39% to 45%. In addition, the percentage of those who are not actively looking for work is decreasing. More than 60% now have higher incomes than before February 24, 2022. In November 2022, this figure was 43%.
