Latvia cancels rapper Xzibit's performance over his concerts in Russia

A concert by rapper Xzibit has been canceled in Riga due to his performances in Russia during the war. The Coyote Fly club made this decision following the intervention of state authorities.

Latvia has decided to cancel a performance by American rapper Xzibit, which was scheduled for September 19, due to his concerts in Russia. This was reported by Delfi, according to UNN.

According to the publication, on September 19 of this year, as part of his Kingmaker European Tour 2024, American rapper Xzibit planned to perform at the Coyote Fly club in Riga.
However, publicly available information indicates that after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the rapper did not stop performing in the aggressor country
Journalists from the publication contacted the Coyote Fly club, which, after evaluating the information, canceled the planned event.
After receiving additional information about the artist's activities in Russia and assessing the situation, the competent state authorities of Latvia announced that Xzibit's planned concert at Coyote Fly cannot take place. The organizers note that they respect this decision and have always complied with the rules and requirements of the relevant departments. At the same time, the organizers state that they do not have information indicating a political nature of the artist's performances in Russia
Representatives of Coyote Fly state that the situation has become an important experience, and in the future, the professional activities of artists and their public biographies will be evaluated even more thoroughly before any cooperation begins.
In 2024, the rapper gave three concerts in Russia. Information available on social media indicates that on December 3, Xzibit performed at the VK Stadium in Moscow. Furthermore, on September 27 of last year, Xzibit took the stage at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
