A 56-year-old man was killed and 8 people were wounded in the Russian shelling of Bohodukhiv in Kharkiv region. Residential buildings, businesses and cars were damaged, and a fire broke out in the forest.
As a result of a Russian strike on Bohodukhiv in Kharkiv region, the number of wounded increased to eight, including a teenager, UNN reports, citing the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office.

According to the investigation, on August 22, around 15:30, the Russian Armed Forces shelled the town of Bohodukhiv.
A 56-year-old man who was working in his garden during the enemy's strikes was killed. He would have turned 57 tomorrow.
Eight more people were injured, including a 15-year-old boy. The minor was hospitalized with a shrapnel wound to his left arm.
Multifamily and private residential buildings, outbuildings, premises of two civilian enterprises, and cars were damaged.
The shelling also caused a fire in a forest near the village of Semeniv Yar, Bohodukhiv district, with an area of 3 hectares. The fire is being eliminated.
According to preliminary data, Russian troops used Tornado-S MLRS for the strikes.
Law enforcement officers documented the consequences of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
"...a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the statement said.
