"In 2024, the number of families who received housing with the help of the state increased 8 times — this is 4,433 families," Kalmykova said.
She told us which veterans can get housing or monetary compensation: persons with disabilities of groups I and II and veterans of IDPs.
"All veterans who have IDP charters fall under all programs in this category. Now we are working in the government to work out additional mechanisms," the ministry added.
Kalmykova says that to become a member of the program, you need to meet all the criteria that are available on the Minvet website.
"When the commission makes an approving decision, the money is transferred to the bank account and it can be used exclusively for the purchase of housing according to the coefficients and norms that are determined," she stressed.
