The speaker of the Iranian parliament stated that the implementation of the ceasefire agreement with the US is difficult but achievable. Tehran has no intention of recognizing Israel and will continue to support the "resistance front".

The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament and the chief negotiator with the United States, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, stated that the implementation of the ceasefire agreement concluded between Tehran and Washington is "difficult but achievable." This was reported by CNN, as conveyed by UNN.

Ghalibaf made the relevant statement during a meeting with the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Muhammad Ismail Darwish, who arrived in Tehran for the farewell ceremony for Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khamenei.
At the same time, the Iranian official emphasized that Tehran does not intend to recognize Israel and will continue to support the so-called "axis of resistance" — a network of Iran-backed armed groups in the Middle East.
"When necessary, such support is provided in the form of missiles. When political pressure is needed, it is exerted through negotiations," Ghalibaf stated, as quoted by the state broadcaster IRIB.
He also stated that "revenge" for Khamenei's death would be achieved through the "liberation of Jerusalem."
According to CNN, the 14-point agreement signed last month between Iran and the United States provides for a 60-day negotiation period on sanctions relief, the Iranian nuclear program, and the restoration of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
At the same time, the document does not contain provisions regarding Tehran's support for regional armed groups or its missile and drone programs.
