The hat from the movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom became the most expensive item at the auction in Los Angeles. Other artifacts sold include a Star Wars stormtrooper helmet and Harry Potter's wand.

The hat that Harrison Ford's character wore in the second part of the Indiana Jones movie saga , Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom,  became the most expensive item at a recent auction in Los Angeles - it was bought  for  $630 thousand dollars.  This was reported by UNN with reference to  BBC.

A brown felt hat specially made for the filming of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom reportedly became the most expensive item at an auction in Los Angeles, where Hollywood props were sold.

Harrison Ford's character, the archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones, appears in the beginning of the film when, fleeing from the Chinese mafia, Jones and his companions jump out of a plane that has lost control. 

Caption to the photo:After the end of filming in 1984, the hat ended up in the personal collection of Harrison Ford's stunt double, stuntman Dean Ferrandini, who died last year. 

The monogram “IJ” - the initials of the fictional owner - is embroidered in gold letters on the inner lining of the hat, made by the Herbert Johnson Hat Company in London.

Also at the auction, the helmet of an imperial stormtrooper scout from the 1983 film Return of the Jedi (the first filmed episode of the Star Wars movie saga) went under the hammer for $315,000.

In addition, Harry Potter's wand with a glowing tip, which actor Radcliffe never parted with on the set of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, went under the hammer. It found its new owner for $53.5 thousand.

And Daniel Craig's costume from the 2012 movie 007: Skyfall went for $35 thousand.
