In Pochaiv, a German shepherd attacked an 11-year-old girl; according to the owner, the dog broke loose from its leash. The child was hospitalized with facial injuries and a broken jaw.
After a dog attack, an 11-year-old resident of Pochaiv was hospitalized. Police are investigating the circumstances of the crime, the National Police in Ternopil region reported, writes UNN.

A message that an 11-year-old resident of Pochaiv with bite wounds on her face and a fractured jaw sought medical attention was received by the police from the on-duty doctor of the Kremenets hospital. The child was brought to the medical facility by her father.
The investigative team established that a German Shepherd dog attacked the schoolgirl on the street in Pochaiv. According to the dog's owner, he was walking the animal on a leash, but seeing the children, the dog broke free and rushed at the girls.
The girl, as indicated, is currently in the regional children's hospital.
A criminal proceeding has been initiated on this fact in accordance with Part 1 of Article 128 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - negligent serious or moderate bodily injury. Pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
