This will take place as part of the ALARM 2026 exercises, the purpose of which is to test information exchange between the administration and services in Poland. According to Polish media, the signals that will sound will be purely for training purposes and will not indicate a real danger. The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges people to remain calm and to pass the information on to their loved ones, especially the elderly and children.
It is also noted that the signal will take the form of a modulated sound lasting three minutes. At the same time, the end of the alarm will be transmitted using a three-minute continuous sound, Polish media report.
