Russian troops shelled the Kherson railway station, a train car was damaged. An ambulance crew that was evacuating the wounded came under fire, and there are injured medics. This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia and the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, writes UNN.

Today, Russian terrorists attacked the Kherson railway station and the surrounding infrastructure. As a result of the shelling, car No. 110 Kherson - Lviv was damaged, the train departed with a delay of one and a half hours. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Employees and passengers were in the shelter. We will replace the damaged car with a spare one at the nearest stations

According to preliminary information, the windows of the station building were broken, and there was damage to power and water supply cables.

"We continue to move despite attempts to stop the railway", - added Ukrzaliznytsia.

According to the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, an ambulance crew that was helping the wounded also came under Russian fire in Kherson. Medics were evacuating a 59-year-old man to the hospital who had suffered an explosive injury, concussion and abdominal wound. At this moment, the Russians attacked them. 

As a result of the enemy's strike, a 33-year-old paramedic and a 63-year-old driver suffered explosive injuries and concussions. All the victims are currently in the hospital

In turn, the head of the Kherson MBA, Roman Mrochko, announced an increase in the number of wounded as a result of the massive enemy shelling of the city center.

A 59-year-old man was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
