A 74-year-old man died in the morning as a result of shelling by Russian troops in Kherson region, and a woman who was wounded earlier died in hospital yesterday. Residential buildings, a museum, and infrastructure were damaged, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office and the regional police reported on Friday, UNN reported.

According to the prosecutor's office, today, November 8, at about 10:00, the Russian army fired artillery at the settlements of the Kherson community. A 74-year-old local resident died as a result of the enemy attack. The man was on the street when the shell exploded.
According to the regional police, over the past day Russian troops once again shelled the right bank of Kherson region with artillery and UAVs of various types. Kherson and 15 other settlements in the region suffered from enemy attacks, according to the head of the Kherson RMA, Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to police, three private and four multi-storey buildings, a museum building, a critical infrastructure facility, three cars, a hairdresser's and a pharmacy were damaged.
Russian military attacked Beryslav with a drone, a 57-year-old man was wounded. In Zmiyivka, Stanislav, Mykilske , there are destructions of houses due to Russian strikes.
Artillery shelling of the center of Kherson damaged a museum building and a multi-storey building. At night, the enemy shelled the Tavriyskiy neighborhood with artillery. The shells damaged three multi-storey buildings, a hairdresser, a pharmacy, a public transport stop and three cars. There were no casualties.
"A 69-year-old woman from Kherson, who was wounded during a Russian shelling on October 17, died in a medical facility. Doctors fought for her life for several weeks, but her injuries were too severe," the police said.
"Due to the Russian aggression, 1 person was killed and 3 others were injured," Prokudin wrote on Telegram, posting the data for the past day.
