At about 05: 00 on Sunday, a 41-year-old citizen of Ukraine, who lived in Frankfurt am Oder, lay down on the right lane of the capital's Karl-Marx alley. This is the Central Avenue in the eastern part of Berlin. The man was run over by an Uber car, driven by a 51-year-old woman. She is so shocked that she sought medical help.
"The man was already lying on the road when the driver ran over him," the police said. — According to available information, the man was still alive when the accident occurred. He died from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run car.
It is not clear why the Ukrainian lay down on the Avenue and how long he was there. An investigation is underway.
