The Ministry of Health will expand the Affordable Medicines Program in 2025, adding more than 30 new drugs and increasing the budget to UAH 6.6 billion. for the first time, the program will include medicines for children and new forms of medicines.

More than 30 new drugs will be added to the updated program, including combination drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, as well as for the treatment of rheumatism, nervous disorders, eye diseases and endocrine diseases such as hypothyroidism and migraines.
The program will save money for at least 500 thousand Ukrainians.
For the first time, the program will include medicines for children, as well as medicines in the form of drops and ointments.
The expansion of the program is supported by the president of Ukraine as part of the winter support initiative.
The initiative is designed to facilitate access to medicines for people from different regions, in particular residents of villages, front-line and remote territories, who will be able to receive medicines through Ukrposhta or mobile pharmacies.
The Affordable Medicines Program allows you to get medicines for the most common chronic diseases for free or for a small surcharge.
The program has more than doubled in five years and continues to operate during martial law.
In total, it was used by almost 5 million Ukrainians.
