According to the cruise company Oceanwide Expeditions, the condition of two passengers requires immediate medical attention, so the decision was made to evacuate them.
In addition, a person who had been in contact with a passenger who died last Saturday was also evacuated from the ship.
Two specialized aircraft are being deployed for the transportation, heading to Cape Verde, where the cruise ship is currently located.
