Hamas claimed responsibility for the shooting in Jerusalem that killed three people and injured six others, which was carried out by two brothers associated with the group. The attack was a response to Israel's actions in Gaza.
The Hamas group took over responsibility for the terrorist attack with shooting at the entrance to Jerusalem on Thursday morning, as a result of which three Israelis were killed and six were injured. This is reported by The Times of Israel, writes UNN.

In its statement, Hamas "welcomes" the two criminals, brothers Murad and Ibrahim Nemer from the East Jerusalem region Sur-Baher, calling them "martyrs leading jihad".
Militant officials said the attack was in response to Israel's war against the group in the Gaza Strip and the alleged killing of two children in the West Bank.Hamas also called on its followers to further"escalate the resistance."

According to the Shin Bet security agency, two militants were members of Hamas and were previously jailed for terrorist activities. Murad was jailed from 2010 to 2020 for planning terrorist attacks led by terrorist elements in the Gaza Strip, and Ibrahim was jailed in 2014 for undisclosed terrorist activities.
Adam al-Ghul (8) and Basel Abu Al-Wafa (15), as well as two senior terrorist commanders, were killed yesterday by Israeli forces in Jenin. Hamas has named 15-year-old Al-Wafa as one of its members.
