According to the police, the suspect, having influence on officials of one of the capital's medical institutions, received an extract about the alleged presence of a serious illness.
The established fictitious diagnosis allowed the attacker to obtain a 3rd group of disability, which in the future helped to avoid mobilization, as well as receive social guarantees from the state. The investigation established that the official illegally received more than 100,000 hryvnias of social benefits during 2023-2025. The figurant was notified of suspicion of committing fraud, and the fictitious disability group was canceled. The attacker faces up to three years of imprisonment
