Exchange rates for May 27: the dollar is rising again, while the euro has begun to fall

The National Bank has set the dollar exchange rate at 44.27 UAH, while the euro has decreased to 51.51 UAH. In banks, the dollar is being sold for 44.45 UAH, and the euro costs 51.84 UAH.
The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rate of the hryvnia at 44.2767 UAH/USD for today, weakening the national currency by 3 kopecks over the day, UNN reports, citing NBU data.
The NBU also set the official exchange rate of the euro against the hryvnia for May 27 at 51.5159 UAH/EUR, strengthening the hryvnia by 1 kopeck over the day, but failing to recover from the 20-kopeck weakening the day before.
According to data on specialized websites as of Wednesday morning:
- In banks, the dollar is trading at an average rate of 43.94 UAH for buying and 44.45 UAH for selling; the euro is at 51.20 UAH and 51.84 UAH, respectively;
- In exchange offices, the dollar is trading at an average rate of 44.09 UAH for buying and 44.20 UAH for selling; the euro is at 51.55 UAH and 51.75 UAH, respectively.
