Energy Support Fund has already accumulated more than 550 million euros - Shmyhal

Prime Minister Shmyhal announced the accumulation of over €550 million in the Energy Support Fund. The government is working to increase the capacity to import electricity before winter through ENTSO-E.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that the Energy Support Fund already has more than 550 million euros in contributions, and the government is actively working with ENTSO-E to increase the possibility of importing electricity. He said this at a government meeting on Tuesday, UNN reports.

"Another area of energy strengthening is attracting assistance from partners. The Ministry of Energy has set up a group to coordinate international assistance. The Energy Support Fund has already accumulated more than EUR 550 million in contributions. Every week, we receive specific assistance from states, international organizations and institutions," says Shmyhal.
According to him, the government is working with ENTSO-E partners to increase Ukraine's capacity to import electricity before the onset of winter.
