Details
The suspicious object was spotted at around 8:30 a.m. on a beach in Costinești. One of the tourists saw an object about one meter long in the water. Several antennas could be seen above it. Witnesses suggested that it could be debris from a sea or aerial drone.
Police officers have now arrived at the scene. The area near the pier was evacuated, and tourists were moved away from the zone. The object is drifting very close to the shore, while the sea is quite rough.
Investigators must establish exactly what kind of object it is — debris from an aerial or sea drone. Witnesses also said that the object disappeared from view after a few minutes and suggested that it had sunk.
