DIU officer receives medal from the USA for military cooperation

The U.S. Defense Attaché awarded the DIU officer with the Medal of Merit. The award was presented for his contribution to strengthening military cooperation between Kyiv and Washington and facilitating security assistance.
Defense Attaché at the US Embassy in Ukraine, Brigadier General Kipling Keiler, solemnly awarded an officer of the Strategic Communications Unit of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine with the Medal of Merit, UNN reports with reference to the DIU.

The award was presented to the intelligence officer for his important contribution to the development and strengthening of military cooperation between official Kyiv and Washington, in particular, for creating conditions for obtaining and increasing security assistance for Ukraine.
The DIU serviceman expressed gratitude for the support of the American people, the U.S. government, and all of Ukraine's partners in NATO, which is critical to repelling full-scale Russian aggression.
"Ukraine, repelling Russian aggression, protects not only itself but also the entire free world, international order and security. This award emphasizes that our partners also realize and appreciate this," said the DIU officer.
In his remarks, Kipling Keiller assured of the unwavering American support for Ukraine and emphasized that the courage and heroism of Ukrainians is a model for the entire free world in their quest for freedom, protection of sovereignty, independence and Euro-Atlantic choice of their country.
