Two Russian tankers carrying more than 8,000 tons of oil products sink in the Kerch Strait. 12 crew members were rescued, four went missing, and Putin ordered rescue operations to be organized.
Two Russian cargo ships sank off the coast of annexed Crimea: the tanker Volgonoil 212 was damaged and ran aground, and Volgonoil 239ran adrift, the Russian Emergencies Ministry reports. The number of rescued crew members and missing persons is reported. Meanwhile, Russian President Putin has given instructions to organize rescue operations in the strait.
